Our desperate times have created concerned reactions, so here's a firearm factsheet to consider if you're pondering gun ownership
In recent weeks, we at Armed with Reason and GVPedia have been hearing stories and seeing social media comments from traditionally progressive folks who are considering buying a gun for the first time — primarily due to the fear arising from current events like the ICE movements in Minnesota.
While those fears are completely understandable, we wanted to share this fact sheet that we’ve created to serve as an informational conversation starter to highlight the dangers of gun ownership and as a foundation for future inoculation against the myth that “guns make you safer.”
