Due to the tragic shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia last week, America’s gun violence epidemic once again went to the top of the news cycle. Sadly, as we’ve often seen, within a couple days the concern for these horrible events often recedes.
No matter the whims of the news cycle, we must not become numb to our gun violence problem. We at GVPedia know that gun violence prevention should be a top concern for voters during this election season.
So join us on Tuesday, September 17th at 12 noon EST for a lively online discussion about the gun myths and disinformation that will no doubt be spread throughout this election cycle, and be more prepared as you enter the voting booth come November 5th.
