They not only discussed the themes of Hughes’ new book, The Myths We Carry: An Advocate’s Guide to the Gun Debate, but how to fight the well-funded disinformation of the gun lobby, and the frustration of relying on facts and evidence to advocate for gun violence prevention in an era where the very notion of truth is withering.
