GVPanorama: Supreme Court Upholds Domestic Violence Gun Restriction
A positive SCOTUS decision for domestic violence survivors
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Over the course of this month, we will be highlighting domestic violence issues related to firearm access.
Today’s GVPanorama, from NBC News, is a reminder of a recent positive Supreme Court decision by a Court that has otherwise been supportive of dangerously expanding the scope of the Second Amendment.
In late June, the Supreme Court “upheld a federal law that prohibits people subjected to domestic violence restraining orders from having firearms, taking a step back from its recent endorsement of a broad right to possess a gun.”
