While working in the gun violence prevention movement, a hard realization is that stating the blatant harmful effects and hard facts of gun deaths aren’t always enough to sway pro-gun people. As we look for every angle to expose the many adverse outcomes of America’s firearm fetish, laying out the economic costs is an often persuasive strategy.
