Today’s GVPanorama piece comes from Legal Reader. Founded in 2002, the site is an independent, ad-free outlet for legal news and information, with a focus on consumer protection.

And this recent post adheres to that philosophy. It presents a wide swath of clear facts and graphs — culled from 33 different sources — from a very wide-ranging study into current gun ownership and usage in America.
Some of their findings will be familiar to Armed With Reason readers, while some may surprise you. Just one interesting note from their research: it seems gun ownership amongst men has actually gone down between 2007-2022, while it’s gone up for women.
The article mostly avoids editorial commentary on the numbers, and simply provides a clear-eyed look at how deeply engrained guns are in our culture.
