As National Gun Violence Awareness Month begins, help us continue the fight against gun lobby disinformation
June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month, beginning with National Gun Violence Awareness Day — also known as #WearOrange Day — on June 6.
Even before June, GVPedia have dedicated 2025 as a year in which we will be even more focused on amassing facts to fight against the gun lobby’s deadly Firehose of Falsehood. So our theme for this National Gun Violence Awareness Month is Data Saves Lives.
As the pro-gun forces continue to spread a battery of disinformation and faulty research across the digital landscape, we will push back with factual, peer-reviewed research and stories from across the country that highlight the grassroots work that is growing in the face of increasing gun violence prevention rollbacks from the Federal level.
